It is with great sadness that we have once again found it necessary to reschedule the annual PenSPRA Symposium. The Symposium is now being rescheduled for October 14-15, 2021.
We know that you are disappointed, as are we. Hopefully, the third time is a charm! During times of crisis, it is often a much-needed relief to spend time with your colleagues in order to share plans, bounce ideas off of one another and renew energy. Unfortunately, due to the slow rollout and lack of vaccines, we want to err on the side of caution.
We hope that you will be able to join us in October. We have made arrangements with the hotel, and if you have already booked your room, it will be automatically cancelled. However, if you plan to join us in October, you will need to rebook your hotel room. A link for rebooking will be sent to all members who registered for the symposium.
Your PenSPRA Symposium registration will automatically carry over for October. If you plan on joining us on October 14-15, you need not take any further action as far as registering for the symposium. However, we understand that the new dates may not work for you and your schedule, so if you would like a refund or need to cancel your registration, please contact Marta Howard at MartaH@cciu.org or 484-237-5171.
In much better news, we are pleased to announce that the PenSPRA Professional Learning Series will continue in the spring. More information regarding the upcoming webinar schedule will be sent out in the near future. Additionally, we have enjoyed receiving everyone's submissions for the Communications Contest and look forward to receiving even more submissions throughout the month of February! We plan to announce the winners in each category in early April.
We look forward to these exciting events coming up in the spring, and we can't wait to see everyone virtually during the PenSPRA Professional Learning Series and in person at the PenSPRA Symposium!
Thank you so much for understanding the reason for postponing the Symposium, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
